My MIL came to help with the kid.. but she wouldn’t plan for her meals.. and needs to be told daily.. and every meal.. what to give her to eat. Not only that.. she never cooked in advance.. even though they bring the kid to visit me.
I worried myself sick.. because of it.. when i was staying in the hospital.. but i kept my peace.. because it is her help we needed.. and we were at her mercy. It is extremely sad.. that i cannot fully depend on my MIL.
Yes.. she came, she helped looked after the kid.. but she wasn’t cooking for me.. or making sure i get nutritious food.. to heal. You would think she would.. but nope. The only thing she cooked were some ham.. and potatoes one nite.. when there wasn’t anything she wanted to eat. Very sad..!
Yes.. and of course it isn’t as comfortable.. having another person in the house. I ‘ve gotta wear my bra.. and make sure.. i donch have holes in my clothes. I cleaned up a few more things.. at home.. but i know it won’t stay clean for a long time. My MIL refuses to do anything at my place. Oh well.. what can you say right.. ?? *shrug*.. beggars can’t be choosers.
The MIL is coming to stay because my surgery is scheduled for Monday. Nope.. i’m not really looking forward to it.. but i guess some help is better than no help.. since the man will be alone with the kid. I really hope.. that the MIL will come thru’ for us this time.. instead of expecting.. the man to do everything .. and still expect to run her errands.. and go for her bingo… now that wouldn’t be too good.
The MIL was in yesterday.. and we had chatted about my operation.. and guessed what..?? she expects me to get up and cook.. after my operation.. because cooking isn’t anything heavy according to her. According to her.. the doctor would want me up.. and doing stuff.. the next day. Yes.. i understand that..!! BUT NOT COOKING..!! BIZARRE..!!!
And nope.. no way .. am i gonna listen to her.. like what i did.. during my C-Section.. !!! not gonna wash dishes for the whole family.. !!! FORGET THE FREAK IT..!! I’m so freaking mad..!! You don’t even wanna come near me.
I can understand .. that the MIL doesn’t wanna cook on Mother’s Day.. but for her not to wanna cook on Father’s day..now that’s a little bit too much.. donch you think..???
Yes..and once again.. she had wanted us to bring KFC.. and if you all know..KFC is freaking expensive..!!! so we resorted to getting her some store baked chicken.. sausages.. a pie.. and some nuts for the FIL .. for Father’s Day.. and of course a photo of him.. and his grand-daughter. We really do try.. ! unlike the other brother.
The MIL wants me to have my operation in the winter.. because then she isn’t busy or needed in the gardens. But i hate winter with such a passion.. you wouldn’t believe it. So what is good for her .. isn’t good for me. Winter is our slowest time.. that means.. we have to work extra hard to keep the bills paid.. and i can’t be laid off during this time..!
Nope.. even if she isn’t going to help.. it doesn’t matter.. in fact maybe it is better. i doubt she is going to help me with any cleaning.. except to look after the kid.. her grandkid.
About 5 yrs ago.. when i had my kid.. the mother-in-law came to stay and “help” .. so she said. But besides looking after the kid.. and making her sleep.. and sleep .. and sleep during daytime.. she doesn’t cook.. nor do anything else. And night time..the kid was all ours.. but you see.. with so much sleep during day time.. the kid doesn’t sleep at all.. at nite.
Now what i cannot explained.. or understand is.. how she can let someone who just had a C-section.. 3 days before Christmas to get up to cook.. and washed all the dishes.. for the whole family. And no .. she wouldn’t cook..even though it was Christmas. And because of that.. i really think my MIL is of no help whatsoever..!
Now why would the grandmother let the kid play with fresh and clean towels ..?? Beyond me..! i tell ya..! Came home.. from work.. and found fresh towels.. all over the bedroom floor.. while they play camping and hide and seek. Although i do appreciate the babysitting and bonding time the kid had with her grandmother.. it is really, really beyond me.. why she would allow the kid to play with something like that..?? *slap forehead*
When my mother-in-law said.. she wanted to stay over nite.. if she didn’t get a ride home from her game.. the man and I didn’t say a thing. Because as much as possible… i would prefer she doesn’t.. coz’ she is of no help.. yet.. it’s gonna be inconvenience for us. I cannot imagine.. what it is gonna be like.. when she stays.. when i have my op. Oh my God..!! i don’t even wanna think about it.
