The brother-in-law won on bingo last week.. but of course.. he didn’t offer to buy us a treat or anything.. but that’s to be expected. Since the rest of the family is this way too. One time my MIL’s brother’s wife.. won $10K on a scratch ticket.. and guessed what she gave the kid..?? a toonie.. yup..!! a toonie..! like we were beggars..!! But of course the MIL is worst.. she got nothing to give to the kid.. even if she did win. Sometimes.. my heart hurts.. not for the money.. but for the no gesture.. for the kid.
