Tired Of Begging

Doting grandparents.. always buy gifts for their grandchildren.. and in my culture.. if you were grandparents of the only grandchild.. usually you are spoilt. But with my kid’s grandparents.. it is never forthcoming..!  The kid doesn’t get very many gifts from them.. only during Christmas.  One year on her birthday.. she got a few bucks with a card.

Not that we are hard up for gifts or anything.. but it’s just strange..that i have to make opportunities for them to buy stuff for the kid.. and i’m getting a wee bit tired about asking.  Because the kid will be growing up.. and realising that all her gifts are from friends and customers.. and us.. but not the grandparents.

Cigarette Butts & The MIL

The MIL was in yesterday to babysit the kid .. before going for her activities.. in the nite. I wonder how many cigarette butts she left this time.. on my front lawn. It irks me so much.. we have cigarette butts all over the front yard.. not only is it ugly.. she didn’t have the courtesy.. to kill the cigarette .. and throw it inside the house or the side of the house. I hate it so much.. whenever i see the cigarette butts. Why would someone do this to someone’s house.. afterall, our house was a new house.. some few years ago.
As much as i like the MIL .. i cannot comprehend.. nor appreciate ..her bad habits. Dirty ..!

Brute & Christmas

My brother-in-law .. Brute .. seems to be a nice guy .. except that he cannot even save some money for presents for his only nephew..!  Yes.. he bought .. only 2 gifts for christmas for him.. from the DOLLARSTORE..!!  costing him only 2 miserable bucks..!!

Yes. it is the thoughts that counts.. !!! but surely, surely .. he can do better than that..!!!  And nope.. he didn’t get anything for the man and me..!!!  I just got confirmation from my MIL yesterday about it.. and she was quite indignant.. that he didn’t get his unemployment.. so wasn’t able to get anything.

Yah.. right..!!!  obviously he had money for his drinks and weed.. !!!  i just think it’s thoughtless.. and unforgiveable.. because every year.. he does this to us.  One year.. he gave us t-shirts that were free from somewhere.  Unbelieveable right..??  Yes.. that’s Brute for you.

Welcome to my blog all about the inlaws. The casts includes .. my mother-in-law, my father-in-law, my brother-in-law and the man’s best friend. Lets just call them.. Ollie, Popeye, Brute and TubbieToast.
